Huntsville-Madison County Senior Center’s
Computer Learning Center

Mission Statement: To provide understanding of and access to computer technologies and to allow seniors to share their knowledge and wisdom with others.

The CLC is a program which promotes personal computer understanding among senior adults of the community. We are known simply as The Computer Learning Center (CLC). The only requirement for participation is a desire to enhance your computing skills. The CLC is operated by volunteers. They are dedicated, retired professionals from the community who gain satisfaction from helping others.

Priority is given to those who are at least 60 years of age.  Persons under 60 years of age may take classes if there is a vacancy and there are no seniors on the waiting list.

The computer classes are taught in 4 week long terms with classes on Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM and from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM in our computer laboratory. We have 8 terms per year. Each 16 hour course has a $40 enrollment fee (tuition) which includes a course CD.
